Neighborhood Lending Partners, Inc. is a Tampa, Fla.-based nonprofit that provides loans and technical assistance for affordable housing and community revitalization projects statewide. Since its inception in 1993, it has leveraged private and public dollars for multifamily and single family housing, commercial developments, and mixed-used projects. NLP has financed over 137 housing properties comprised of over 12,000 residential units as well as commercial properties in its targeted low income markets for loans totaling over $450 million.

A historic building in St. Petersburg that is being renovated and prepared to accommodate military veterans in need of housing and retraining.

SCLAD (Spinal Cord Living-Assistance Development, Inc.), is a nonprofit group that works to provide affordable housing to individuals with physical disabilities. With affordable housing, individuals can become more engaged in their communities, and have a better chance of achieving independence and becoming self-sufficient.

A 32-unit loft style apartment building in Tampa. The former church and school building was converted into apartments and office space. Sanctuary Lofts was funded under NLP’s economic development program.

A 76-unit remodeled, historic hotel in Lakeland. They are market rate apartments.

An 80-unit farm worker-housing complex in Ruskin. The property contains 40 three-bedroom/two-bath units and 40 four-bedroom/two-bath units. The amenity package includes a community room, tot lot playground, bicycle storage racks, and central laundry facilities.

A 144-unit, mixed-income new rental project in Largo. 58 units will be set aside for households with 50-60% of area median income. Bayside Courts was funded primarily with NSP2 grant funding.

Community Reinvestment Fund, USA (CRF) is a national nonprofit organization based in Minneapolis, Minn. that has brought capital to community development lenders in low- to moderate-income communities since 1988. Since inception, CRF has channeled financing to create more than 19,000 units of affordable housing serving nearly 40,000 people.

CRF fills a gap in community development funding by bringing a larger amount of capital to the communities that need it most. This has a powerful impact, creating a huge ripple effect and improving more lives of disadvantaged people in distressed neighborhoods all across the country.
